While there's good vibes and bad vibes, vibration from power tools such as rotary or demolition hammers is generally considered bad as the repeated vibrations can cause permanent injuries to blood vessels, nerves and joints! Most power tool manufacturers have recognised this and have taken steps to actively reduce vibrations from their tool offerings. In this instance, we'll look at how Bosch's Active Vibration Control reduces vibration up to 27%!
The Active Vibration Control is available in SDS-Plus models like the Bosch GBH 2-28 DFV, GBH 3-28 DFR as well as the other SDS-Max rotary hammers and demolition hammers in Bosch's line up.
The Active Vibration Control acts to reduce vibrations up to 27% less than equivalent models without any form of active vibration damping. Bosch UK's Eric Streuli elaborates on the details.
